M. Sue Martin

Sue is a West Virginian but has lived in S.C. since 1975. She first pursued her interest in art through the Famous Artists School and through adult classes at West Hampton Beach High School, Long Island N. Y. She has studied oils with Moya Hamer of Oklahoma City, acrylics with Campbell Frost of Columbia, S.C., and water color with Erica Hoyt of Columbia, S.C. She has taken workshops with Anna Kay Singley, Judy Jarrett, Carlton Plummer and Illona Smith-Roykin. She is a member of the Log Cabin Art Guild, Trenholm Artists Guild and the Cider Painters of America Miniature art Guild. She has won several awards and sold pieces have gone to Germany, Egypt, California, Texas, Wyoming, Iowa, Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, West Virginia , Florida and S. C. Her work is currently in the John Miranda Artists of S. C. gallery, Columbia.
