Regina Moody

Regina Moody has had a life-long interest in fine art and crafts, but pursued a professional career in school librarianship. After retirement, she began formal training in pastel and oil painting and continues to develop her skill through workshops and participation in a local studio/gallery venture since 2005 with fellow students of the late Reuben Gambrell.

In her new career as an artist, Regina has won Best in Show at two recent Trenholm Artist Guild juried shows, has exhibited yearly at the State Fair, and sold numerous paintings.

She utilizes images from international and USA travel in her landscapes and figurative paintings, but also captures the poses, faces and settings of home. It is the deeply emotional, natural expression that interests her most at this time in her artistic development.
