Sandra Shelton

Sandra works primarily in chalk pastel. She has traveled to Panama, Germany, and Japan. While in Panama she learned about the art of the mola practiced by the Kuna Indians of the San Blas Islands. In Germany, she had many opportunities to visit and study the wonderful architecture of the Rhein valley. During her stay in Japan she learned the Japanese art of papermaking and sumie painting. Currently she is teaching art at an elementary public school and working on a doctorate degree.
