"The ability to capture time has always amazed me. To be able to see an event frozen in time from history. When I was only ten years old my father was in a severe accident that left him with brain injury. Each time I would see him my memories of him before would fade. I began to forget how he was before. Only a handful of pictures existed of my father of the way that I remembered him. Around that time my mom let me use her point and shoot camera and soon I began documenting everything. I was so afraid I would forget something. The world around me was my canvas. I absorbed it through the lens of my camera. My subject matter is most often people, sometimes in surreal settings. My images convey almost diary-like entries. Each has a story to tell but it is up to the viewer to decide"
