Snapshots February 14, 2005 Meeting.

Our guest speaker was JoAnne Anderson.  JoAnne also presented the workshop on February 15, 16 and 17.  Anderson is a SCWS Member with Excellence, SCWS past president and Best in Show winner, and a signature member of the American Watercolor Society.  She has been instrumental in the development of arts organizations across the state and served on the executive boards of the SC Guild of Artists, Sumter Artist Guild, Anderson County Arts Council, Anderson Artists Guild, Belton Center for the Arts, and the SC Arts Commission's Arts Advocacy Committee.  She has more than twenty-five years experience teaching drawing and watercolor workshops as well as giving lectures and jurying art exhibitions. The 1997 Fall, 1999 Spring and 2001 issues of Watercolor Magic magazine have featured articles about her work. She demonstrated her techniques for painting the figure using watercolor and mixed media on Bristol Board and Illustration Board.
