Snapshots March 14, 2005 Meeting

Tony Cacalano was the speaker at our March 14, 2005 meeting.  He shared his insights about acrylic painting, the old masters and color. Tony graduated from Yale University where he received a B.F.A. & an M.F.A. in painting. During his time at Yale, Tony studied with major 20th century painters and historians. For 40 years, Tony Cacalano has dedicated himself to his art.  Tony has taught painting, drawing, design, & art history at a number of notable colleges and universities. He has been the recipient of several grants, including the prestigious NEA grant in 1987.  Cacalano Originals are very popular with private collectors, especially those in the movie industry.  You can visit Tony's website at www.cacalanostudios.com.
