Snapshots from our

November 13, 2006 meeting.

Guest Presenter - Jeff Osborn

Jeff Osborn, an Ohio native, moved to SC in 1991.  He is a member of the Florence Art Guild and the Florence Museum.  His paintings are full of color and life.  He works in oil, watercolor as well as pastel and acrylic.   He shows and sells his work at the Lynda English Studios in Florence, SC, where he also teaches beginner oil classes.

At our meeting Jeff shared his use of computer software to do color studies and plan his artwork.  He demonstrated how he uses Photoshop CS2 to manipulate the color saturation and brightness to determine his values in his original photos.   He demonstrated his painting technique on a painting in progress of a tiger.
