Robert Hickman was  our speaker for the Monday meeting as well as our annual workshop presenter. Robert is a graduate of Irmo High School and Clemson University with a degree in mechanical engineering. After graduation he worked for Michelin Tire Company as a machine designer. His first experiment in painting was in 1994 with NASCAR subjects as early favorites. He left Michelin in 1996 and became an associate artist with a racing gallery in Charlotte, N.C. In 1998 he completed his first wildlife painting and changed his focus to wildlife and sporting dogs.
