I have a Masters of Fine Art from UVA in theatrical costume design and construction.  I worked in the professional costume world in NYC for several years.  I taught elementary school when my children were young.  I taught English as a second language when we lived in Italy.  When my kids were grown, I returned to some theatre work, but became interested in painting.  My work is eclectic and I often mix media, following no rules.  I love cities, the artwork of children and the Mediterranean.  My artwork reflects these strong influences in my life.
